The Crown Prince of Bahrain receives Saqrgbash and the heads of the Gulf legislative councils
Manama, 12 November / WAM / His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, received at Riffa Palace today, His Excellency Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council, and Their Excellencies and Excellencies the Heads of the Shura, Parliament, National and Nation Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries participating in their nineteenth regular meeting in Manama.
His Highness stressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen the bonds of joint Gulf action and support all initiatives that support the progress of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, noting the importance of continuing to build on the achievements achieved in the paths of Gulf cooperation, and pushing them towards broader horizons in various fields, in a way that translates the visions and aspirations of Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
He praised the prominent role of the Gulf legislative councils in coordinating common positions and visions and supporting efforts in various regional issues and international forums, which reflects the unity of the Gulf ranks and embodies the visions and aspirations of their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council countries towards a more prosperous and developing future, noting the principles of consultation and consensus that characterize the region and which contribute to formulating programs and initiatives that support development efforts and enhance paths of prosperity for the benefit of citizens.
For their part, the heads of the delegations participating in the nineteenth regular meeting of Their Excellencies the Heads of the Shura, Representatives, National and Nation Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries expressed their deep thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the warm reception, and the keenness and interest His Highness attaches to strengthening the bonds of joint Gulf action at all levels, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain to continue the path of growth and prosperity.
