Sharjah Chamber looks forward"The future of quality under artificial intelligence"
Sharjah, 13 November / WAM / The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with its Youth Council, today organized the activities of the “World Quality Day Forum” under the slogan “The Future of Quality in the Light of Artificial Intelligence,” which discussed the challenges and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence, how to employ it to achieve institutional excellence and sustainability, and the necessity of building the capabilities of employee cadres and developing their skills to keep pace with developments.
The forum, which was held at the Sharjah Chamber headquarters, was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director General of the Chamber, Her Excellency Samira Mohammed, Director General of the Dubai Quality Group, and an elite group of experts and institutional leaders, in addition to a wide participation of employees and representatives of government and private institutions who were keen to learn about the latest trends in the field of quality and artificial intelligence.
The forum is a platform that brings together experts and decision-makers to discuss the latest developments in the field of quality and exchange experiences on how to employ artificial intelligence and modern technologies to enhance institutional performance and achieve excellence and sustainable innovation to ensure that institutions keep pace with future transformations and build a work environment capable of competition and leadership.
His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadhi stressed that the celebration of World Quality Day comes as a practical translation of the Chamber’s firm commitment to promoting the culture of excellence and innovation in the Emirate of Sharjah, pointing out that the culture of quality is an administrative practice, a well-established approach and an integrated system in government and private work in the Emirate of Sharjah, whose vision and mission are inspired by the thought and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who laid the foundations of excellence and creativity as essential pillars in the process of sustainable development.
In his speech, Al-Awadhi reviewed the Chamber’s pioneering initiatives in disseminating the concepts of distinguished performance, pointing to the pioneering initiatives adopted by the Chamber, including the Strategic Business Leadership Programme, which aims to develop and develop human resources in government institutions, and the “Sharjah Excellence Award”, which is organized annually by the Chamber. This year witnessed the adoption of a developed global model for evaluation processes based on international best practices in performance and innovation.
He stressed that the forum represents a vital platform to discuss the transition from traditional quality standards to an innovative model based on data analysis, forecasting, and proactive decision-making using artificial intelligence techniques.
The forum included speeches that highlighted leading practices in the field of quality assurance and presented valuable insights about the application of quality standards in the government sector, in addition to an inspiring visual presentation entitled “A Film about the Future of Quality and AI,” which anticipated the growing relationship between the two concepts and shaped the future in this field.
The forum witnessed a dialogue session entitled “The Future of Smart Quality: How Artificial Intelligence will reshape global standards.”
At its conclusion, the forum stressed the importance of investing in qualitative platforms to exchange experiences and build strategic partnerships in a way that enhances the leadership of the United Arab Emirates in the fields of quality and innovation.
