The UAE Foreign Minister and his American counterpart discuss regional developments and strategic relations by telephone

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Emirates, during a phone call with Marco Rubio, Secretary of State of the United States of America, discussed the strategic relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in a way that serves their mutual interests.

The two sides also reviewed efforts to expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation in various sectors, including economic, commercial, and scientific sectors, in addition to artificial intelligence and advanced technology, and other fields that support development priorities in The two countries.

 

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed – during the call – the depth of the strategic relations between the UAE and the United States of America, and the joint keenness to continue constructive cooperation and support efforts aimed at achieving sustainable development and enhancing paths of growth and progress for the benefit of the two countries and their people.

The two sides discussed the latest developments in the regional situation, including the tragic developments in Sudan, and also touched on ways to address The humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

 

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan appreciated the efforts of the United States of America in consolidating the foundations of security and stability in the Middle East region, and working towards building a sustainable peace that achieves prosperity for its people.
