Trump describes Britain’s handover of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius as… "Great foolishness"

The US President accused Donald Trump Tuesday, Britain committed "Big foolishness" By signing an agreement in 2024 to hand over the Chagos Islands located in the Indian Ocean to Mauritius.

Trump wrote on his platform "Truth Social" that "Leave The United Kingdom for a land of vital importance is an act of great foolishness, and yet another in a very long line of national security reasons why it is necessary to acquire Greenland.".
