After her recent appearance in a public place without a hijab… a retired artist breaks her silence and responds to criticism (photos)

Mu’tazila artist Manal Abdel Latif responded to the criticism directed at her after she recently appeared in a public place without a hijab.

Manal re-published a post by one of her supporters that said: “Fear a day when you will return to God. The people who made themselves the accountant by God’s command and appointed themselves as enjoining good and forbidding evil. The artist and media person / Manal Abdel Latif, by the way, has been taking off her hijab for more than a year, and she accidentally took pictures at a colleague’s opening, not because she would return to acting.”

She continued: “The artist was the wife of a respected colleague, the president of a court, and her daughter is a counselor who has a wonderful future, God willing, and by the way, she is a successful businesswoman and produces. I mean, she does not need to do this for anyone, nor for a job opportunity in the midst of acting, which does not enrich or satiate hunger. She is in need of that, and then these are private matters that are only between a person and his God. Take off the veil or wear it. Just be to yourself, angels of the earth.”

Manal re-published it on her Facebook account and wrote in her first comment: “Mercy, His Excellency the Chancellor,” and she published a picture of herself without the hijab.

It is noteworthy that Manal Abdel Latif’s last participation was in the series “Kid Al-Nisa 2” in 2012, starring the actress Fifi Abdo, Nabila Obaid, Ahmed Badir, Mimi Gamal, written by Hussein Mustafa Muharram and directed by Ahmed Al-Badri.
