Strong competition at the end of the UAE Championship for Arabian Horse Breeders

Abu Dhabi, November 15 / WAM / The UAE Championship for Arabian Horse Breeders, dedicated to private stalls, which concluded yesterday evening, witnessed strong competition among the participating horses, with titles distributed among a number of different stalls.
The Emirates Arabian Horse Association organized the tournament in the Grand Hall of the Boudhib Equestrian Academy, over the course of 4 days, with a large participation of 421 horses belonging to about 216 owners.
His Excellency Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, attended part of the closing evening activities.
The closing was also witnessed by Ali Al-Enezi, General Director of Al-Watan Shooting and Equestrian Club in Libya, and His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Al-Harbi, General Director of the Emirates Arabian Horse Association, along with a large number of owners, breeders and stud managers.
The final competitions began with the filly “Sultana BHM” by Bin Hamila Stud, which was crowned with the gold title for yearling fillies, followed in second place by “Bilqis Al-Nour” by Al-Noor Stud, while the bronze title was won by “Falha Al-Hawajer” by Ghanem Al-Hajri.
“Sheikha Al-Yah” by Mohammed Ahmed Abdul Latif Al Ali won the gold title of the Fillies Championship, and won runner-up and won the silver title, “Lillian Al-Saad” by Adel Omar Al-Marzouqi, while the bronze title went to “Haya Al Fuhaid” by Mohammed Saeed Al Fuhaid Al-Hajri.
“AJH Hajar” by Jumaa Al-Shamili won the gold title for mares, and “MZ Rafiqa” by Khalifa Al-Nuaimi won the silver title, while “Rawa’a Mughaydir” by Rashid Saif Al-Zaabi came third and won the bronze title.
“JS Romeo” by Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al Baydaei topped the yearling colts championship, achieving the gold title, and came second and won the silver title, “Lahoub TH” by Al Thuraya Stud, while the bronze title was won by “Gharbi Al Yah” by Hamad Ahmed Abdul Latif Al Ali.
“ALA Sinjar” by Mohammed Butti Al-Abdouli won the gold title for colts, followed in second place, and “Sarab BHM” by Bin Hamila Stud won the silver title, while “Dahim Al-Jawaher” by Al-Jawaher Stud won the bronze title.
“Rumz Al Yah” by Mohammed Ahmed Abdul Latif Al Ali concluded the competitions by clinching the golden title for stallions, and came in second place and won the silver title, “JS Al Sultan” for Al Jawaher Stud, while “Falah Al Hawajer” by Ghanem Al Hajri won the bronze title.
On the other hand, the activities of the Arab Championship for Arabian Horse Breeders kicked off yesterday in the Grand Hall of Boudheib Academy, with the participation of 103 horses belonging to about 57 owners.
The activities of the first day began with the race for yearling fillies, which consists of two sections “A” and “B”, followed by the race for fillies aged two and three years, which is also divided into two sections “A” and “B”, then the race for mares for ages four years and above, while the activities of the first day conclude with the male horses category through the race for yearling foals, which in turn consists of two sections “A” and “B”.
As for the activities of the second day, they begin with the category of foals aged two and three years, which are also divided into two sections “A” and “B”, followed by the category of stallions for ages 4 years and above.
After that, the six final championships will be held, including the yearling foals and fillies championships, the fillies championship, the colts championship, the mares championship, and the stallion championship.
