المملكة: "Saudi Scouts " Reviews its development and contributes to "decision making" Al Arabi in Abu Dhabi

The Saudi Arabia Scouts, tomorrow, Sunday, at the 31st Arab Scout Conference, which is being hosted on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi until November 20, organized by the Arab Scout Organization – Arab Scout Region, in cooperation with the Emirates Scouts Association, and with the participation of delegations representing Arab Scout Associations.

The conference is the supreme authority of the Arab Scout Movement, and a platform for adopting the general policy of the region, electing the Arab Scout Committee, and reviewing Financial and administrative reports, in addition to discussing proposals to amend the constitution and determining the locations and times of future scouting events.

The program includes sessions dedicated to protection from harm, electing and appointing working committees, in addition to reviewing developments Scouting globally, and the report of the Sixth Arab Scout Youth Forum and its recommendations.

In addition to sessions dedicated to reports and regulations, proposals for constitutional amendments, the Arab Day for the Exchange of Cultures, external visits for participants, offers to host scouting events, electing members of the new Arab Scout Committee, and discussing the three-year plan (2026 – 2028 AD) and the global strategy for major events, before concluding its work with official honors.

The conference will also witness the implementation of a number of qualitative workshops, including: anticipating volunteer work in its new phase, protection from harm, innovative education, leadership and empowerment, and international scouting policies, in addition to introducing participants to the model of young representatives in the World Organization of the Scout Movement.

The head of the delegation of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mudayris, confirmed that the association’s participation comes as a continuation of its role in supporting the Arab Scouting movement, and enhancing the presence of Saudi Scouts in regional and international forums, indicating that the conference represents an important opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss future policies, and contribute to Arab scouting decision-making.

Al-Mudayris indicated that the Kingdom’s delegation provides active participation in specialized sessions and workshops, reflecting the level of development. And the progress witnessed by the scouting movement in the Kingdom.
