Dubai surprises the world with the tallest hotel on Earth

Dubai continues to assert its presence as one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the world, driven by advanced infrastructure and quality projects that consolidate its position in the luxury hospitality sector. In a new step that reflects this approach, the Ciel Dubai Marina Hotel officially welcomed its guests, which is today classified as the tallest hotel in the world.

The hotel, which is 377 meters high, set a new record, ahead of the Gevora Hotel, which is also located in Dubai, and has a height of 365 metres.

The tower, whose construction cost amounted to about two billion UAE dirhams according to The National newspaper, includes 82 floors, including 1,004 hotel rooms and suites. The hotel also houses the highest swimming pool in the world at an altitude of 310 metres, providing an unprecedented hospitality experience in the heart of Dubai Marina.

Dubai continues to record remarkable growth in the tourism sector, supported by exceptional levels of quality of life and safety, as the emirate received about 9.88 million international visitors during the first half of 2025, achieving a growth of 6% compared to the same period in 2024, according to data from the Department of Economy and Tourism.

Dubai strengthens its position in the world of hospitality by owning eight of the ten tallest hotels in the world, including: Gevora (365 metres), JW Marriott Marquis Dubai (355 metres), Rose Rayhaan by Rotana (333 metres), Burj Al Arab (321 metres), Jumeirah Emirates Towers (309 metres), The Address Resort (301 metres), and Tower Plaza (294 metres), which reflects the emirate’s passion for mega projects. And continue to excel in the global tourism sector.
