The Ninth Health Insurance Conference will be held in Dubai on November 26 and 27, 2025

On November 26 and 27 at the Millennium Plaza Downtown Dubai Hotel, the Emirates Insurance Federation is organizing the ninth annual health insurance conference for the year 2025 with the participation of a distinguished elite that includes more than 200 experts and decision makers in the health insurance sector.
This year’s conference will discuss and analyze many important topics, most notably the current state of health insurance in the UAE, the role of artificial intelligence in risk management and preventing fraud in health insurance, digital transformation, and blockchain technology in claims, analyses, and policy formulation and prices.
It also reviews the future of health care provision and the shift towards decentralized care, including telemedicine and home health care, in addition to strategies for containing health insurance costs and cybersecurity and its role in protecting the financial data of the health insurance system.
Khalid Mohammed Al Badi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Insurance Federation, said: This year’s conference is of great importance in light of positive indicators of steady growth for the health insurance sector in the UAE over the coming years, especially after the launch of the new compulsory health insurance regulations that now cover all the emirates of the country, the steady increase in the population, high rates of aging, the increasing spread of health insurance, and the boom in medical tourism in the country, driven by high rates of economic growth and a focus on economic diversification, all of which are factors that lead to an increase in demand for health care services at a time when expectations indicate that the volume of spending on the health sector in the country will decrease. (According to reports by specialized institutions) it will record a compound annual growth rate of 6.7%, reaching 150.8 billion dirhams (41.1) billion dollars by 2029.
Al Badi added – The new edition of the conference this year provides a platform for launching new ideas and formulating insurance solutions capable of facing future challenges in the aforementioned sector, especially in keeping pace with the rapid developments in global innovations in health insurance, designing innovative new products, providing sustainable products, investing in digital transformation, integrating health technology with insurance, and expanding the uses of artificial intelligence in improving claims departments to simplify operations, provide customized insurance solutions for companies, and improve customer experience via digital platforms.
