The Dubai Air Show consolidates the UAE’s position as a destination for the most prominent international events and events

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, visited today the activities of the 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow 2025, which is being held at Dubai World Central, under the slogan “The Future Starts from Here” and continues until the 21st of this month of November.

During his tour of the pavilions of a number of national and international companies and the outdoor spaces designated for display, His Highness was briefed on the latest innovations, technologies and advanced solutions in the field of aviation, space and defence.

His Highness exchanged conversations with representatives of national and international entities and companies and listened to an explanation from them about their contributions and the advanced technologies and innovations they are presenting, in addition to the latest civil and military aircraft and air defense systems.

During the tour, His Highness witnessed the inauguration of the Badr-250 multi-role aircraft produced by the Emirati Calidus Holding Group, which specializes in developing and manufacturing defense products, which is the first of its class, as it was designed, developed and produced entirely with Emirati competencies.

During his visit to the Tawazun Defense Empowerment Council’s pavilion, His Highness was also briefed on the Council’s latest projects and initiatives as part of its ongoing efforts to support a well-established and advanced defense industries system that keeps pace with the requirements of the future.

On this occasion, His Highness praised the progress witnessed by the national defense industries and the important role played by Emirati cadres in this field.

His Highness the President of the State stressed that the Dubai Air Show is a global platform that contributes to strengthening international partnerships and constructive cooperation in the aviation, space and defense sectors, in addition to consolidating the UAE’s position as a destination for the most prominent international events and activities that bring together pioneers of innovation and advanced technologies that will contribute to creating new opportunities for growth and progress.

Upon his arrival at Dubai World Central, His Highness the President met his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, where their Highnesses exchanged greetings and friendly conversations.

On the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow, His Highness the President also met with Wei Yingbiao, Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China. The meeting touched on the importance of participating in the Dubai Airshow as an international platform that brings together representatives of major international companies that showcase the latest technologies and systems they produce.

His Highness was accompanied during the visit by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, and a number of senior officials.
