المملكة: The “Commercial Register”, “Forces” and “Insurance” files are on the social dialogue table

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, within the framework of its strategic partnership with the King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication, held the fifth preparatory workshops for the fifteenth Social Dialogue Forum scheduled to be held in 2025.
The workshop came under the title “A Shared Vision for the Future of Work,” as it brought together representatives of the three production parties (the government, employers, and workers) with the aim of formulating unified visions for developing the national work environment.
The sessions witnessed a high-level attendance representing In the participation of the Undersecretary for Labor Market Policies, Muhannad Al-Issa, along with the Chairman of the National Committee for Labor Committees, Eng. Nasser Al-Jareed, and the Acting Chairman of the National Committee for the Labor Market, Khaled Al-Shunaibar, where discussions focused on formulating the proposed recommendations for the upcoming forum.
Expected Effects
The workshop delved into the discussion of change management in conjunction with the implementation of the new commercial registry system, reviewing the expected effects of this system on the structure and dynamism of the labor market. The attendees also opened the file of technical and procedural challenges existing between the “Qiwa” platform and the General Organization for Social Insurance, in search of integrated solutions that serve all parties.
In the context of human capital development, the attendees discussed ways to develop the training and professional development system, with a special focus on the quality standards of nationalized jobs, to ensure that nationalization is not limited to numbers, but goes beyond it to creating value-added and sustainable job opportunities.

The discussions also touched on mechanisms for enhancing Effective partnership with the private sector as a development partner, and ways to achieve sustainable development, in addition to reviewing plans aimed at enhancing the positive mental image of the Saudi labor market locally and internationally.
This workshop constitutes a pivotal link within the series of preparatory meetings for the fifteenth Social Dialogue Forum, which is one of the most important national platforms concerned with discussing and drawing up labor market policies, and unifying efforts to confront future challenges.
