Mansour bin Mohammed praises the role of the Dubai Air Show in consolidating the UAE’s position as a major destination for the global aviation industry

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, visited the activities of the nineteenth edition, the largest in the history of the Dubai Airshow 2025, which continues until November 21 at Dubai World Central, with a record participation of more than 1,500 exhibitors, including 440 participating for the first time, along with 148,000 visitors, and 490 military and civilian delegations from… 115 countries.
During his tour of the exhibition pavilions, His Highness stressed that the Dubai Airshow has become a leading global platform that attracts the most prominent international companies and institutions to showcase the latest technologies and solutions in the aviation and defense industries. His Highness praised the size and quality of global participation, which is the largest and most diverse since the launch of the event.
His Highness said: “The status achieved by the Dubai Air Show is the result of the vision of our wise leadership and its keenness to consolidate the UAE’s position as a major destination for the global aviation industry, as the event has become a pivotal point of attraction for major companies and specialized institutions, thanks to the advanced environment that Dubai provides that gives the sector unprecedented growth prospects.”
His Highness added: “The great international confidence reflected in the local and international participation in this edition of the exhibition reinforces the UAE’s role in pushing the aviation sector towards new levels of innovation and development, by adopting the latest technologies and smart systems that shape the future of the world’s aviation industry.”
His Highness noted the wide presence of the most important aviation manufacturers around the world at the exhibition, and the innovations and advanced products they offer, stressing that the major international event continues its vital role in supporting the growth of the sector at the local, regional and global levels, and consolidating the leadership of the UAE and its influential contributions to the development of the aviation industry from Dubai.
During his tour of the exhibition, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was briefed on the most prominent offerings of national and international companies participating in the Dubai Airshow 2025. The tour included the platform of the Emirati “EDGE” group, one of the global groups specialized in the fields of defense and advanced technology, in addition to reviewing the latest projects and programs presented by the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Center in the fields of space exploration and satellite development, in addition to the platform of the French company “Rafale”, the Abu Dhabi Aviation platform, and the Starlink platform, which It showcases the latest space communication solutions, as well as the Airbus Space, Space42, and Thales platforms that offer the latest technologies and smart systems in the fields of aerospace and defense.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum continued his tour of the exhibition, where he was introduced to a group of the latest participating aircraft, and viewed the G800 aircraft, in addition to the participating Russian aircraft, most notably the Sukhoi. His Highness also stopped at the Emirates Airlines Group stand, where he inspected its latest aircraft, including the Boeing 777, which is equipped with the Starlink satellite communication service, in addition to seeing the Riyadh Airways Airbus H160 helicopter.
His Highness also visited the UAE Air Force platform, where he inspected the A330 aircraft used for medical evacuation and the C17 aircraft used for strategic missions and logistical support. His Highness was also briefed on the approved equipment and programs provided by the platform.
At the end of his tour of the exhibition, His Highness followed from the main platform some of the air shows included in the second day’s activities, in which a group of military aviation squadrons participated, presenting displays that showcased the skills of pilots and the development of modern aviation techniques.
