The Kuwaiti National Guard announces the downing of 8 drones

The Kuwaiti National Guard announced the downing of 8 Iranian drones at dawn today, and said in a post on its account in “X”: “The official spokesman for the National Guard, Brigadier General Dr. Jadaan Fadel Jadaan, announced at dawn today the shooting down of 8 “drones” in positions of responsibility that the (Duty Force) is responsible for securing.”
The official spokesman for the National Guard added that this measure “comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to enhance security, protect vital sites, and confront any potential threats.”
The spokesman called on everyone to “need to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities.”
He stressed that “the National Guard forces, in cooperation with the army, police, and general firefighting force, are fully prepared and ready to deal with any threats and to firmly confront everything that aims to destabilize the country’s security in a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security, and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.”
