Al Dhafra Region Municipal Parks receive the Green Flag Award for the seventh time

Al Dhafra, November 19, 2017 – 11 parks in the municipality of Al Dhafra Region received the Green Flag Award this year, which is considered the highest international award in the management of parks and green spaces.

The list of award-winning parks included five parks in Madinat Zayed, three in Port City, and one park each in Dalma City, Sila City, and Ghayathi City.

The importance of winning the award lies in enhancing the position of the cities of the Al Dhafra region globally, especially in the field of park management, increasing the rates of park visitors and users, in addition to tourism promotion, achieving a healthy environment for the community, and supporting sustainability.
