Majid bin Saud: Bahrain is a pioneering model in supporting creativity, embracing energies, and preserving cultural heritage

MANAMA, November 20 / WAM / Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Head of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities in Umm Al Quwain, confirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a pioneering model in supporting creativity and nurturing the knowledge movement, pointing to the Kingdom’s advanced efforts in embracing creative energies and preserving cultural heritage, which has become a testament to its possession of a thriving cultural environment.
This came during his visit to the headquarters of the Rashid Bin Khalifa Arts Foundation in the Kingdom of Bahrain, where he was received by Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the National Arts Council in the Kingdom, within the framework of consolidating regional partnerships and developing joint work in cultural and tourism aspects between the United Arab Emirates and the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain.
The head of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities in Umm Al Quwain said that this visit came within the framework of strategic efforts aimed at learning about the experience of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the fields of culture, arts and creative project management, in addition to encouraging cultural dialogue and enhancing the exchange of experiences between the concerned communities, which contributes to developing the cultural scene and supporting joint initiatives, and strengthens the position of the two countries in consolidating cooperation and preserving cultural identity.
During the visit, Sheikh Majid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla was briefed on the most prominent activities and initiatives implemented by the Rashid Bin Khalifa Arts Foundation, in addition to exhibitions, cultural projects, and distinctive artistic works that reflect the vitality of the creative scene in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the continuous development it is witnessing in creating an integrated artistic environment that ensures the empowerment of talents and support of art owners.
At the conclusion of the visit, the head of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities in Umm Al Quwain expressed his thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa for the warm reception, appreciating the prominent role played by the institution in highlighting the cultural face of the Kingdom of Bahrain and enhancing its cultural and creative presence at the regional and international levels.
