Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Enterprise Development and"Beginnings" You conclude the program "Emirati Tech"

DUBAI, November 20, WAM / The Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, one of the institutions of the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, and the “Bidayat” business incubator in the Sustainable City in Dubai, announced today the conclusion of the Emirati Technology Pioneers Program “Emirati Tech” and the graduation of 20 Emirati start-up companies in the field of technology.

According to a statement issued by the corporation, this announcement embodies Dubai’s continued endeavor to become the fastest growing global center for small and medium-sized enterprises and leading local companies, in line with the main priorities of Dubai’s D33 Economic Agenda.

The programme, which was delivered through the Hamdan Center for Creativity and Innovation (Hi2) of the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development, reflects the organisation’s commitment to empowering Emirati entrepreneurs with the tools, resources and market opportunities needed to transform innovative concepts into viable technology projects ready for growth.

The program provided a comprehensive incubation period for participating projects, including practical guidance, business model development, product development support, and opportunities to test market feasibility.

Bidayyat has enhanced this experience by providing access to expert guidance, state-of-the-art facilities, and a practical testing environment designed to accelerate the growth of early-stage startups.

Five companies out of 20, namely “Carbon to Capital”, “Syspos”, “Sharar”, “Mirshed”, and “DynoTech”, achieved tangible progress that qualified them to receive a grant from the Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development to continue developing their products and services in various fields such as sustainability, environmental technologies, digital systems, financial technology, artificial intelligence, and digital tourism.

Many projects have already moved into practical applications, as Sharar worked on developing a pilot model for energy management in cooperation with the Sustainable City, while Carbon to Capital expanded the scope of its initiatives in the areas of sustainability and emissions reduction.

The companies “Cyspos”, “Mershed” and “Dyno Tech” have begun implementing initial projects and market tests of their new technologies in various sectors.

Abdulaziz Al Mazmi, Director of the Business Incubators Department at the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, said: Our success in graduating these Emirati innovators as pioneers of the city’s economic future is in line with the vision of our wise leadership and our commitment to achieving the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. By empowering Emirati entrepreneurs with distinguished resources, guiding them, and facilitating their access to markets, our partnership with Bidayyat takes a new form of fruitful cooperation. And the constructive relationship between the public and private sectors to build a sustainable and innovation-based economy.

For his part, Faris Saeed, founder and president of the C Institute, under which the Bidayyat platform falls, said: Our role is to enable entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into successful projects and develop them within a framework that encourages pioneering thought and national innovation. The program has contributed to giving Emirati technology pioneers the opportunity to develop and test their businesses in a practical environment that simulates real market needs, which establishes a sustainable approach to entrepreneurship and enhances the UAE’s position as a global center for innovation and future technologies.

This year, the “Emirati Tech” program attracted 93 applications and 182 entrepreneurs participated in it, seeking to bring about positive development in the sectors of technology, artificial intelligence, mobility, e-commerce, healthcare, tourism, and educational and environmental technology solutions.
