Flydubai CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, revealed that the company plans to enhance the travel experience on board its future fleet of wide-body Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, by launching “Premium Economy Class,” for the first time in the carrier’s history. The new aircraft will include three travel classes: Economy Class, Premium Economy Class, and Business Class.

Al Ghaith added to “Emirates Today” on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow 2025, that this step comes within the framework of the company’s plans to expand and provide wider options to its passengers, especially with the start of receiving the “Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner” aircraft in the coming years, which will allow “Flydubai” to operate long-range flights with advanced products.

It is noteworthy that during the last session of the Dubai Air Show in 2023, Flydubai concluded a deal with the American company Boeing, to purchase 30 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, with a total value of up to $11 billion, as part of Flydubai’s endeavor to diversify its fleet by operating wide-body aircraft.
