"Women Dubai" Organizes the Creativity Forum competition


Dubai, November 20 / WAM / Al Nahda Women’s Association organized the Creativity Forum Competition under the slogan “Heritage and Identity”, which aims to highlight the role of art by highlighting the importance of heritage and preserving it to consolidate individual and collective identity and to deliver an intellectual humanitarian message aimed at preserving national memory through artistic creations and honing talents.
The competition seeks to highlight authenticity and pride in identity through artistic paintings, with the aim of documenting the Emirati cultural heritage and preserving it for future generations.
The competition is being presented for the fifth consecutive season and targets female artists and amateurs aged 12 and above, girls aged 12-17 years, and female amateurs and artists with disabilities.
The competition included multiple fields in the arts of drawing, and the number of contestants reached 42, participating in a live competition among lovers and amateurs of arts and pictorial drawing, participants from the local community. The paintings were then presented to the public and the arbitrators according to the specified criteria, so that the winners were judged by an elite group of specialists, trainers, and the arbitrators of the competition were the artist Kholoud Muhammad Ali Al Jabri from the UAE, and the artist Ayman Muhammad Al Imam from the Arab Republic of Egypt.
In the adult category of 18 years and above, contestant Kawthar Al-Sabahi from the Kingdom of Morocco won first place, contestant Fatima Saeed Omar from the UAE won second place, and the encouragement award was won by contestant Haya Raji Al-Mughosh from Syria.
In the junior category, the results resulted in Yara Amr Bakri from Egypt winning first place, while second place was won by Haya Ibrahim Othman from Egypt.
In the People of Determination category, contestant Fatima Sabeel Almas from the United Arab Emirates won first place, contestant Suzan Muhammad Al-Yousef from the Syrian Arab Republic won second place, and contestant Aisha Obaid Al Shamsi won an encouragement award.
Her Excellency Dr. Fatima Al Falasi, Director General of the Association, said that the Association organizes creative artistic competitions based on its role in supporting the talents and creativity of young people and contributing to national development. The importance of the competition lies in two axes, the first of which is introducing the heritage of the Emirates and its cultural history. The second axis is to display creative paintings that express in an aesthetic way that documents the heritage and identity of our beloved country, which represents a fertile artistic environment for expressing identity and heritage, by merging authenticity with the present in the artistic work of Emirati heritage.
