المملكة: Urgent | Structuring the consulting market… canceling the “security” list and adopting 5 new freelance professions
Issue, Majid Al-Qasabi, issued a decision to cancel the regulation for the practice of issued in 1422 AH, in a step aimed at updating in line with current regulatory and economic developments.
The decision also included amending the annex to the rules regulating the liberal professions issued in the same year, to adopt an updated list of liberal professions, which includes five consulting fields that have been organized and made available to practice according to specific controls.
The new list of liberal professions
The new list of liberal professions includes: educational and pedagogical consulting, economic consulting, computer consulting, and related consulting. In the communications and information technology sector, in addition to physical consultations.
This modernization comes within the efforts of the Ministry of Commerce to restructure professional activities, empower specialized sectors, and enhance the quality of advisory services provided to individuals and institutions, in line with the path of administrative and legislative development in the Kingdom.
