application "Otay" Signs a memorandum of understanding with "Shamaa Autism Center" In Saudi Arabia

DHAHRAN, 21st November, 2017 (WAM) – The Otai application, the first social media platform dedicated to families with autism and service providers around the world, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Shamaa Autism Center in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as part of the activities of the third day of the International Autism Conference held in the city of Dhahran, in which “Otai” participated as one of the most prominent exhibitors.

The memorandum of understanding aims to enhance aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides to serve families of autistic children, and to enable service providers to access a reliable and integrated platform that helps them communicate, exchange experiences, and provide direct support to the community.

Under the memorandum, the Shamaa Center will work to activate its institutional accounts within the application, and encourage families of children to benefit from the platform’s services, with the two sides cooperating in providing educational and awareness-raising content and launching joint initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for individuals on the autism spectrum.

Her Excellency Aisha Al Kaabi, founder and CEO of the Otai application, said: “We are honored to cooperate with the Shamaa Center, one of the leading entities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of supporting and empowering families with autism. For his part, His Excellency Dr. Saad Al-Shahrani, CEO of Autism Candle, stressed that cooperation with the Otai application represents an important step to employ technology in serving autistic families, and enhancing access to services to them in an easier and more organized way, praising Otai’s efforts in building a global platform with a pioneering humanitarian vision.

This cooperation comes within the framework of the two sides’ efforts to unify efforts, launch innovative projects that contribute to raising community awareness, and provide effective support channels for families through modern digital solutions that keep pace with their daily needs.
