"K2" and"Abu Dhabi Airlines" and"Multi level" We partner to enhance the air mobility system in the Emirates

ABU DHABI, 22nd November / WAM / K2, a company owned by the Abu Dhabi government and specialized in advanced autonomous systems and technologies supported by artificial intelligence, announced the signing of a strategic partnership with the Abu Dhabi Aviation Group and the Multi Level Group, with the aim of accelerating the introduction and development of the “Autocraft E20+” aircraft designated for transporting passengers within the advanced air mobility system emerging in the UAE.

The partnership was signed during the Dubai Airshow 2025 to constitute an important step towards achieving the UAE’s ambitions in the field of advanced air mobility, supporting the country’s leading position in innovation and future technologies within the civil aviation sector.

This partnership comes within the framework of the national efforts led by the Intelligent Autonomous Systems Council and within the objectives of the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030. It combines the operational expertise of Abu Dhabi Aviation Group, the technical capabilities of Multi Level, and K2’s leadership in autonomous mobility solutions and the next generation of air transport systems.

Under the partnership, Abu Dhabi Aviation Group and Multi Level Group will jointly operate the Autocraft E20+ aircraft, including supervising operational readiness, regulatory integration, pilot training courses, and developing maintenance and repair services, in addition to coordinating with the emerging Vertiport infrastructure within the future air mobility system.

K2 confirmed that the testing program for the Autocraft E20+ aircraft continues to progress in coordination with the General Authority of Civil Aviation, with the development of a plan for organized evaluation activities in Abu Dhabi within the national program aimed at qualifying the aircraft for commercial operation in the future.

Mahmoud Al Hai Al Hameli, CEO of Abu Dhabi Airlines Group, said that this cooperation represents a qualitative step in shaping the future of advanced air mobility in the Emirates, pointing out that unifying efforts with the Multi Level Group and K2 combines global innovation and the national ability to responsibly present civil aviation to the next generation.

He added that the “Autocraft E20+” test program reinforces the group’s commitment to building a safe, scalable and sustainable system for advanced air mobility in a way that supports the vision of the Intelligent Autonomous Systems Council and the economic ambitions of Abu Dhabi, noting that the Abu Dhabi Aviation Group is proud to contribute to this transformation to ensure that the UAE continues to be at the forefront of smart, clean and future aviation.

For his part, Mohamed Salah, CEO of Multi Level Group, said that the group and Abu Dhabi Aviation Group form a dynamic and complementary alliance in this strategic cooperation with K2, which enhances the UAE’s position in leadership in the field of advanced air mobility.

He added that the Autocraft E20+ aircraft represents the next stage of safe, efficient and sustainable transportation for passengers in the region.

In turn, Walid Al Balushi, Vice President of Strategy at K2, said that this cooperation reflects the UAE’s ambition to lead advanced air mobility globally, and that this partnership aims to build a safe, scalable system that is ready for actual use by passengers.

He added that the Autocraft E20+ aircraft forms part of a national program that will redefine the movement of people within the Emirates, towards a new era of air mobility.
