center "FIFA" The medical doctor in Dubai participates in the European Society of Sports Physicians conference in Dusseldorf

Dusseldorf, November 22, 2017 – FIFA Medical Center in Dubai participated in the ninth international conference of the European Society of Sports Physicians, which concluded today in the German city of Dusseldorf. It included 50 international lecturers, and included 14 scientific sessions and 4 applied workshops that dealt with the latest developments in the field of prevention and management of athletes’ diseases according to a multidisciplinary approach.
The UAE protocol, which supplements medical examinations for new players before signing contracts, topped the conference’s lecture schedule.
Dr. Murad Al-Gharairi, Director of the VIVA Medical Center in Dubai, reviewed the Emirati experience in this field, pointing out the uniqueness of this protocol, which relies on adding functional tests to determine physical readiness and fitness in addition to traditional medical examinations.
He explained that the protocol includes accurate tests for fitness elements, taking advantage of the presence of an integrated scientific laboratory within the center in Dubai, which allows accurate assessments of athletes at the professional level. He said that this system has contributed to achieving positive results in recent years, and increasing the interest of football stars and various sports to benefit from the Emirati experience.
Emirati sports medicine recorded a prominent presence in the conference by supervising a scientific workshop dedicated to club doctors from various countries of the world.
