Saud bin Saqr witnesses a ceremony "Candlelight" At the Ras Al Khaimah National Museum

Ras Al Khaimah, 22 November / WAM / Today, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, witnessed the “Candlelight” concert hosted by the Ras Al Khaimah National Museum, organized by the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Public Policy Research, in cooperation with the Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah, and in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies, ambassadors accredited to the state, and officials.

His Highness stressed that arts and music are a bridge that deepens human convergence and communication, enhances dialogue and diversity among peoples, and gives generations greater energy to move forward in the process of creativity and innovation.

His Highness pointed out that the emirate is keen to support artistic initiatives in a way that reflects its ambitious future vision, embodies its message to the world, and consolidates the UAE’s position as a model of openness, coexistence and diversity at the global level.

The “Candlelight” concerts are part of a global series supervised by “Fever,” the leading global platform specialized in the field of live entertainment events, which aims to make classical music available to a wider audience through unique performances presented in prominent landmarks around the world, in the light of thousands of candles.

The ceremony witnessed the presentation of a distinguished operatic performance performed by soprano Anna Kovacevic, accompanied by the Italian player Aldo Dotto on the piano, where they presented selected pieces from operatic and classical works, in a captivating musical atmosphere in which voice and melody blended with candle lighting.

The attendees enjoyed a sophisticated artistic atmosphere in the heart of the Ras Al Khaimah National Museum, one of the most prominent historical and heritage monuments in the emirate, as the place provided an exceptional scene that reflects the depth of the emirate’s cultural identity, and highlights its role in supporting artistic initiatives that enhance diversity and creativity in society.
