The Egyptian artist, Yasser Galal, continues to attract attention with the social comedy series “They All Love Modi,” which is shown on the “Abu Dhabi” channel, daily, as part of its Ramadan programming map for the Ramadan 2026 season.

Despite the criticism that targeted the artist Yasser Jalal, which centered around his tendency to present light work, in contrast to the serious roles he presented in his artistic career, the Egyptian artist responded, in press statements, that he had long wanted to present social entertainment work, in order to experiment with all types of drama, recalling his experience with the star Mohamed Henedy in the movie “Prince of the Seas”, and stressing that he had been searching for a long time for work that did not depend on spoofs only, to provide content that had content. Through it, he sends a message to the public, which he presents in the character of Modi, a reckless businessman who runs after his desires and ends up incapacitated and bankrupt.
The fifth and sixth episodes of the series “They All Love Modi” achieved great popularity on social media platforms, as the fifth episode witnessed a remarkable development with the return of “Hala”, whose character Hoda Al-Etrebi embodies, to her husband “Modi” after a period of disagreements between them, as the latter agreed to give her a new opportunity, but he set a set of conditions to accept her return, the most prominent of which was that she should not ask him to cash the check amounting to two million pounds as he is the deferr of the dowry, as His dismissal means an official divorce, and he also stipulates that she should not ask him to write any property in her name.

While the sixth episode of the series was different and full of surprises and unexpected events, after Modi discovered that he had fallen into a financial crisis that threatened the stability of his companies, he asked his business manager, Hamed, whose character is embodied by the artist Mustafa Abu Saree, to sell his villa urgently, which reflects the magnitude of the crisis he is going through, and raises question marks within his family about his future and financial stability. But events escalate with the intervention of Modi’s aunt, Mrs. Hemmat, whose character is played by the distinguished artist Mervat Amin, and who enters into a direct confrontation with him regarding the agreed-upon check and the date of its disbursement.
But the most prominent event in the episode was the marriage of “Modi” to “Shaima”, played by the artist Aiten Amer, in a popular wedding ceremony in her area, in implementation of the wishes of her father, “Muallem Mahrous Al-Manzalawi”, whose role is played by the artist Mohsen Mansour, in the presence of the groom’s friends and relatives of the bride, where “Modi” presented a song that ignited the enthusiasm of the audience in an atmosphere in which popular joy was mixed with a social comedy character.

The surprises continue as Hamed tries to sell Modi’s car without knowing that there is a listening device inside it, as Hala asked one of her friends to plant a listening device to monitor Modi, which paves the way for unexpected secrets to be revealed in the coming episodes.
The events of the series “They All Love Modi” revolve around the character “Mahmoud Al-Wakil,” known as “Modi,” played by Yasser Jalal, a spoiled businessman who grew up to carry out his desires without limits, and spends his life between repeated marriages and staying up late until he loses his wealth in a whirlpool of scandals. In a final attempt to escape bankruptcy, he plans to marry a wealthy woman from a popular class. This unexpected step leads him to discover true love and the meaning of manhood, in the midst of a world governed by interests and appearances.
