The occupation closes the Atara Gate and sets up a military checkpoint near the village of Nabi Saleh, north of Ramallah

This Sunday morning, the Israeli occupation forces closed the iron gate at the entrance to the town of Atara, and set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, north of Ramallah.
The Palestinian News Agency “Wafa” reported: The occupation forces closed the main entrance to the town of Atara. This forced citizens to take long alternative routes.
The occupation forces also set up a military checkpoint near the “Halmish” settlement. Perched on the lands of Nabi Saleh, they stopped a number of vehicles, searched them, and checked the identities of their occupants. This caused a severe traffic crisis.
The entrance serves the western villages of Bani Zeid (Beit Rima, Deir Ghassana, Kafr Ain, and Qarawa), as well as the city of Salfit and some of its villages.
In another context, settlers, at dawn today, stole a “cart” trailer. An agricultural tractor from the lands of Masoudiya, northwest of Nablus, attacked the town, and stole the agricultural tractor trailer, before fleeing. The town is also exposed almost daily to repeated attacks by settlers, including thefts and attacks on property and citizens.
