Madagascar tightens health measures after recording cases of monkeypox


The Ministry of Tourism and Traditional Industries in Madagascar issued instructions to all actors in the tourism and traditional industries sectors nationwide to immediately strengthen preventive measures within their facilities, following confirmation of the registration of Cases of monkeypox infection.
The Ministry stated in a statement that wearing a mask has become strictly mandatory for all Preventive measures, enhancing hygiene and sterilization measures, in addition to ensuring that workers and beneficiaries are aware of these measures.
It is noteworthy that so far, six confirmed cases of monkeypox infection have been recorded in addition to 76 suspected cases of infection with the disease, according to the Ministry of Public Health in Madagascar.
