Carolina Pedrera is crowned the best young player after shining on the sand

Portuguese international Carolina Pedrera was chosen as the best young player in the world by the specialized website Futsal PlanetIn recognition of her rapid brilliance and remarkable rise in women’s futsal.
Pedrera, 23 years old, has emerged as one of the most prominent rising talents in women’s futsal at the global level.
This award comes after her distinguished participation in the first edition of the Women’s Futsal World Cup, which was held in the Philippines last December, where she scored two goals and provided five assists, contributing greatly to the performance of the Portugal national team.
Before reaching the highest levels of futsal, Carolina had a distinguished experience in beach soccer, where she represented the AD Pastéis team in the tournament Women’s Euro Winners Cup In Nazaré 2021, one of the most prominent European competitions for women’s clubs on sand.
This experience helped her hone her technical skills and develop creativity and adaptability, which was later reflected in her professional futsal career.
Pedrera’s career once again underscores the important role of beach soccer as a platform for player development, and reflects the pride of the beach soccer community in seeing players who grew up on the sand achieve the highest achievements in other forms of the game.
