المملكة: A seventy-year-old woman memorizes the Holy Qur’an at the Tarteel Society in Al-Baha
Hamda bint Ahmed Al-Ghamdi – who is seventy years old – completed memorizing the entire Holy Book of God, at Dar Al-Fatah in Al-Dhafeer, affiliated with the Tarteel Society for Memorizing the Holy Qur’an in the Al-Baha region, after a journey that extended for about twenty years of diligent memorization.
The student received her education from a number of teachers of the Holy Qur’an, and during her journey she set an example to be followed in perseverance and diligence. And diligence, transcending health challenges and age conditions, to confirm that learning and memorizing the Holy Qur’an is not linked to age or stage.
The house witnessed the organization of a simple ceremony on this occasion, while the association confirmed that this achievement sends a clear message that the Holy Qur’an is life and light, and that whoever approaches it will realize it at any age.
