“Human” leads Saudi Arabia’s leadership in artificial intelligence with a new investment in Korea
Tariq Amin, CEO of the company, is preparing "Humain" Saudi Arabia for Artificial Intelligence, for his first official visit to South Korea, with the Kingdom’s ambitions accelerating to lead the global economy based on artificial intelligence.
According to Korean media, this trip represents a turning point in diplomacy in Artificial Intelligence between the two countries, while the visit centered around the global startups event COMEUP 2025, reflects how quickly cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence has developed from a strategic dialogue to concrete partnerships in the field of infrastructure.
According to local reports, it plans "Humain" To establish a branch in Korea (Human Korea), as part of a long-term strategy to consolidate its presence in Northeast Asia. The new entity aims to be a base for cooperation with Korean startups in the field of artificial intelligence, and Data centers, and semiconductor technology companies.
Industry analysts are closely monitoring Amin’s meetings in Seoul scheduled for December 9-11, which will bring together senior artificial intelligence leaders in Korea, including Naver, SK Telecom, and a number of government ministries.
According to the website "Korea Tech Desk"Amin will hold official meetings with Han Sung-suk, Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups, and Bae Kyung-hoon, Minister of Science, ICT and Communications. Discussions are expected to focus on joint research and development programs in the field of artificial intelligence, cooperation in the field of deep technology startups, and bilateral data infrastructure projects.
The agenda also includes a series of meetings with the most prominent actors and investors in the field of artificial intelligence in South Korea, where the Chairman of "Humain" With Naver CEO Choi Soo-yeon, to discuss ways to collaborate to advance the development of generative AI services tailored to the Middle East markets.
In addition, Amin will meet with SK Telecom leadership to discuss cooperation in the development of large language models (LLM) and participation in the company’s Global AI Alliance initiative.
Amin is also scheduled to deliver a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the COMEUP 2025 conference, where he will outline the Kingdom’s strategy Saudi Arabiain the field of artificial intelligence, the global cooperation model, and its vision for a sovereign infrastructure for artificial intelligence.
