“Higher Education” 65 universities in the national unified registration system

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that seven new universities have joined the National Unified Registration System, one of the Ministry’s strategic initiatives, bringing the number of institutions joining the system to 65 higher education institutions nationwide.

This new update includes: (42 Academy Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah University of Medicine and Health Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi – Abu Dhabi, SEAE University College, Curtin University, Middlesex University Dubai, and ESMODE French Fashion Institute), and this comes within the framework of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to expand the scope of the system and standardize admission procedures in higher education institutions within the country.

The National Unified Registration System is a central, integrated platform that aims to facilitate the procedures for registering twelfth grade male students and children of female citizens in higher education institutions within the country, as well as national service recruits, in a way that ensures justice and equal opportunities for all students, and simplifies the experience of registration and admission to universities, through a unified electronic system, subject to accurate and updated standards.

This expansion reflects the Ministry’s commitment to developing the university admission system, in accordance with international best practices, and enhancing the efficiency of procedures, by employing digital technology in educational services, which contributes to improving the quality of services provided to students, and achieving the highest levels of transparency in the registration and admission processes.

This announcement comes as a continuation of the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to develop the higher education system and provide a flexible and integrated registration experience that enhances students’ readiness to enroll in university education, and supports the UAE’s vision of building a competitive knowledge economy based on qualified national competencies.
