Washington has not formally handed over to Moscow the 28-item peace plan for Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia expects the United States to present a copy of the plan, which Moscow considers temporary, after Washington agrees on it with Europe and Ukraine.
Lavrov added, “Russia will not be satisfied if the ‘letter and spirit’ of the agreements reached by the Russian and American presidents, during their meeting in Alaska, are erased from the peace plan in Ukraine,” according to what Bloomberg News Agency reported.
Lavrov said the United States had not formally handed over to Russia even the original 28-item plan.
An American official confirmed, earlier today, Tuesday, that US Secretary of the Army, Dan Driscoll, met with Russian officials for several hours, today, Tuesday.
Driscoll, who joined the US negotiating team less than two weeks ago, is chairing the final phase of talks on the terms of a possible peace plan with Russia.
The US official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive conversations, said the Ukrainians were aware of the meeting.
The official refused to provide details about the expected duration of negotiations or the topics being discussed, but pointed out that all parties expressed their desire to reach an agreement to stop the fighting as soon as possible.
