Etihad Airways carried 18.1 million passengers in 10 months

Abu Dhabi, November 25 / WAM / Etihad Airways transported two million passengers during the month of last October, an increase of 28% compared to the same month last year, bringing the number of passengers from the beginning of the year until the end of October to 18.1 million passengers, representing a growth of 19% compared to the same period in 2024.

The company maintained a passenger load factor of 88% during the month of October and since the beginning of the year, which reflects the efficiency of operating capacity management in parallel with the rapid pace of growth.

Etihad Airways’ operational fleet reached 120 aircraft by the end of the month, with a network of destinations that includes more than 100 destinations, 96 of which were operated during the same month.

Antonualdo Neves, Etihad Airways’ Chief Executive Officer, said: “The exceptional growth in passenger numbers of 28% in October reflects the momentum we have achieved during the first nine months of the year. With our fleet reaching 120 aircraft and more than 100 destinations, we are witnessing the full impact of our strategic expansion. As we enter the latter part of 2025, our operational performance and sustained high occupancy factors give us confidence in achieving an outstanding year for Etihad Airways.”
