Khaled Fathi reveals the fate of the position of treasurer in the Handball Federation
Khaled Fathi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Handball Federation, revealed the fate of the position of Treasurer after the death of Captain Nabil Khashaba, Treasurer of the Egyptian Federation.
Captain Nabil Khashaba, Treasurer of the Handball Federation, died a few days ago after a struggle with illness, leaving the position vacant.
“Fathi” said, that there will be a quick decision to assign one of the Council members to carry out the work of Treasurer. Until by-elections are held for the vacant position.
The president of the federation explained that the next general assembly will not hold elections, due to the expiration of the legal deadline to determine the agenda, and that the elections will be held in June of 2026.
The Board of Directors of the Handball Federation is scheduled to hold an important meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, in order to officially determine the name of the acting treasurer.
