المملكة: Urgent: Saudi Arabia contributes to thwarting Lebanon’s smuggling of about 28 kilograms of drugs
The security spokesman told Drug smuggling, and based on information provided by the Ministry of the Interior, represented by the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, to the counterpart agency in the Lebanese Republic, the Lebanese authorities thwarted an attempt to smuggle (17.45) kilograms of the narcotic substance cocaine and (11,200) kilograms of the narcotic substance Ecstasy hidden inside a vehicle coming from one of the countries.
The security spokesman noted the positive cooperation with the counterpart agency in the Lebanese Republic in following up and controlling Narcotic materials.
He stressed that the Kingdom continues to follow up on criminal drug smuggling activities, confront them to thwart them, and arrest those involved in them.
