المملكة: 74 cases of dust activity were recorded in the region, including 38 cases in the Kingdom
Record the daily report of dust conditions in Middle East, issued on April 20, 2026, reported about 74 cases of dust activity, distributed over a number of countries in the region, with a noticeable concentration in the Kingdom.
The report issued by said that the Kingdom topped the countries in terms of the number of recorded cases with 38 cases, followed by Jordan with 14 cases, then Turkmenistanwith 11 cases, while Egypt recorded 6 cases, Qatar 3 cases, and two cases in Iraq.
Atmospheric impacts
The report indicated that no dust cases were recorded in the rest of the countries of the region during the same period, which reflects a difference in atmospheric impacts between regions of the Middle East.
This monitoring comes within the ongoing efforts to follow up and analyze dust phenomena, which contributes to raising the level of Preparedness and awareness of the risks associated with them, within the “We Monitor… We Search… We Warn” initiative.
