DAE announces the completion of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft deal with United Airlines

DAE, the global aviation services company, announced the completion of the delivery of all 10 Boeing 737-9 aircraft to United Airlines, as part of the previously announced sale and leaseback agreement.

Firoz Tarapore, CEO of DAE, said: “We value United Airlines’ trust in us during the various stages of this deal, which was completed in a short period of time. Within just six months, from signing the documents to completing the deal, the teams of DAE and United Airlines worked in complete harmony, which confirms the flexibility and efficiency of both parties and their ability to implement projects with high efficiency.

He added: “We are pleased to deliver 10 new, highly fuel-efficient Boeing 737-9 aircraft, in support of United Airlines’ fleet expansion plans. We look forward to continuing to support the company and strengthening our cooperation relations.”

It is noteworthy that DAE currently owns, operates and is committed to owning a total of 236 Boeing aircraft, including 119 aircraft from the 737 MAX family.
