The Medina Development Authority revealed its latest digital platform under the name “Visit Madinah,” which came to be The visitor’s first guide, and the smart companion that eliminates the need for traditional searching or inquiring from others when arriving in Medina.

Where Muhammad Salama from the Medina Development Authority explained that the new platform aims to provide An easy and comprehensive experience for the visitor from the moment he arrives, eliminating the need to ask anyone. Everything the tourist needs is present in one platform that guides him and accompanies him step by step. This came during the Hajj Exhibition and Conference, which was recently held in Jeddah.

The most prominent experiences and religious destinations

Salamah stated that the platform includes an updated map For the most prominent religious destinations in Medina, led by the Prophet’s Mosque with all its facilities and services, with direct access to details and locations within the Sanctuary.

It also allows getting to know the Quba Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Islam, passing through the historical mosques that constitute prominent stations in the path of the Prophet’s biography.

With every click inside the application, integrated information about each site appears, in addition to the option of cartographic guidance to reach it without difficulty, and it expands. To display more than 100 tourist experiences available within Medina in cooperation with approved companies and operators.
Among the experiences mentioned by Salama are:

• Visiting Ghars Well and booking free entry through the platform.
• The tourist bus that tours the most important landmarks of the city.
• Historical tours of the sites of the invasions.
• Visits to specialized museums.
• Trips to tourist farms and interactive experiences. It is open.

Salama says, stressing that the platform not only displays experiences but also allows immediate interaction and registration.

As for events, the platform devotes a section that gives the visitor an updated schedule of activities held in the city, including monthly events, and the user can book directly or evaluate the event after attending, which contributes to developing the quality of future experiences.

The City Development Authority describes the new product as a “visitor’s portal.” “The first” is for Medina, and a unified source of tourism information and services, whether the user is a visitor, Umrah pilgrim, tourist, or even a resident of the city who wants to discover it again.
