Dubai International Airport (DXB) is preparing for a strong travel peak starting today, November 27, and continuing until December 31, 2025, with passenger numbers expected to reach more than 10 million passengers through the airport during this period.
Travel will start early in conjunction with the UAE National Day holiday, with the average daily number of passengers expected to reach more than 294,000.
The pace is expected to accelerate significantly during the month of December, which is preparing to receive more than 8.7 million passengers, making it the busiest month in the airport’s history. During the month of December, the number of daily passengers is expected to exceed 300,000 passengers, and Saturday, December 20, will be the busiest day, with 303,000 passengers.
During this period, travel activity is expected to record a clear convergence in the movement of arriving and departing passengers, as the pace of travel abroad increases in the days leading up to the National Day holiday as residents take advantage of the long weekend.
In mid-December, the pace changes again and travel to Dubai increases significantly, driven by the city’s rich and diverse program of festive events during the holiday season.
