New York Abu Dhabi achieves a record increase in the enrollment rates of national students in undergraduate programs

New York University Abu Dhabi announced the reception of the Class of 2029, which includes a diverse group of students from various countries around the world. The total number of Emirati students enrolled in undergraduate programs at the university has reached its highest levels ever since its founding. This year will witness an important achievement for both the university and the path of higher education in the UAE.

The remarkable Emirati presence comes thanks to the increasing annual growth in the enrollment rates of Emirati students, and highlights the university’s continued commitment to supporting the country’s ambitious vision to build a generation of leaders capable of keeping pace with the requirements of the future. The Class of 2029 reflects the continued increasing interest of Emirati students to join NYU Abu Dhabi, bringing the total number of Emirati students in undergraduate programs to an all-time high of 26%.

The class includes students from more than 80 countries, who enrich the university’s unique international community, which forms an essential part of the community of the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, with their diverse academic interests, unique personal experiences, and global visions.
