The works of Mohamed Fawzi and the works of the beautiful era shine on the Republic Theater… Sunday

In an evening that restores the glow of authentic singing and celebrates the masterpieces of Egyptian musical memory, the Egyptian Opera House, headed by Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, presents a new concert by the Arabic Heritage Music Ensemble, led by Maestro Dr. Mohamed Al-Mogy, at eight in the evening on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at the Republic Theater.
The concert opens its doors to the welcoming world of Mohamed Fawzi, the musician who formed a milestone in the history of song. Egyptian music, where the band presents a selection of his most beautiful compositions that still touch the hearts across generations, including: O Dearer Than My Eyes, Every Beat in My Heart, I Have Never Touched Love, The One I Love, Leah Asham, O Beautiful One, Awam, Flower Parade, O My Preoccupation, and I Am Your Preoccupation.
The program also includes a selection of Arab singing classics. Which have become firmly established in the memory, the most prominent of which are “Long Live the Names” by Helmy Amin, “And I’m Afraid to Say What Is in My Heart” by Muhammad Abdel Wahab, in addition to the muhsahs “I woke up and my grandfather” by Sayyid Darwish and “The One Who Is Intoxicated” from the Arab heritage.
A group of brilliant Arab voices participate in performing these selections: Hanan Al-Khouly, Ahmed Sabry, Muhammad Shawqi, Radwa Saeed, Mohie Salah, and Ahmed Al-Waziri, to give the audience an experience. An artistry that restores the spirit of the beautiful time with a contemporary spirit and a sophisticated sense.
