Al Ain Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition attracts a large audience

Al Ain, 27 November / WAM / The second day of the Al Ain International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition attracted a wide attendance of hunting and outdoor sports enthusiasts from various parts of the region, with expectations of receiving thousands of visitors over the weekend, which reflects the growing demand and enthusiasm for the coming days.

The exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to participate in live performances and interactive experiences, combining falconry, equestrianism, and traditional crafts, to be a comprehensive celebration of Emirati culture and heritage.

In its first edition, the exhibition continues to build on the successes of hunting and equestrian exhibitions that were previously held in Abu Dhabi, by presenting interesting interactive shows and rich cultural workshops over five days of events.

The second day witnessed a celebration of the rich tapestry of Emirati heritage, with Arabic coffee taking center stage in the Al Hadheerah Hall, as a timeless symbol of generosity and community connection.

A specialized workshop was presented on the art of roasting and preparing coffee using traditional tools in a unique practical experience that takes visitors on a journey through these authentic rituals.

The main exhibition arena, “Arena”, was transformed into a vibrant platform that combined entertainment and education, offering experiences that reflect Emirati authenticity and highlight hunting and equestrian skills.

The activities included an interactive workshop on training and hunting the Arabian Saluki, in addition to a live show explaining its characteristics and role in traditional hunting.

While visitors enjoyed falconry displays that simulate real hunting experiences, in addition to specialized workshops in this ancient art.

The events witnessed Al Ain Zoo participating in educational sessions about birds and reptiles, in addition to entertainment activities for children and interactive competitions that added an enjoyable atmosphere for families.

Abu Dhabi Police presented distinguished performances that included the police musical band, the K9 police dog unit, and a display of drones, in addition to the “Yola” competition, which embodied the spirit of the authentic Emirati heritage.

The activities of the second day attracted the interest of equestrian enthusiasts and young people alike, as expert Ali Al Ameri presented a session entitled “The Art of Understanding Horse Language,” during which he discussed methods of communicating with horses and understanding their behavior, providing the attendees with a practical vision that strengthens the relationship between the rider and the horse.

The Al Ain Youth Council continued to organize distinguished knowledge sessions, where an introductory session was held in cooperation with the Archive Youth Council and the National Library on the importance of oral history in preserving national memory and documenting cultural heritage, while highlighting the efforts of the Archive and the National Library in collecting historical interviews, digitizing the content, and making it available to researchers and the public.

This was followed by an interactive lecture in cooperation with the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi Youth Council on the project of the hydrogeological map of the UAE, which provided a simplified explanation of groundwater resources data, with the aim of enhancing youth awareness of the importance of these resources and their role in achieving environmental sustainability.

The Hunting and Shooting Sports Weapons and Equipment Section attracted the attention of visitors at the Al Ain International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 2025, as it displayed a distinguished collection of traditional and contemporary weapons that reflect the cultural importance of hunting sports in the UAE, along with the latest innovations in this vital sector.

This section is considered a fundamental pillar in supporting heritage tourism and enhancing the role of local companies, which contributes to stimulating the national economy and encouraging innovation within a safe and organized environment.

Major participating companies, such as Akila, Tasleeh, Fox, Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club, MP3 International, and Baynouna, presented their latest products, which included precision rifles and pistols, in addition to airsoft weapons and recreational firearms.

This participation confirms the importance of the exhibition as a strategic platform for communicating with customers and expanding the scope of business, in light of the continuous development of hunting and shooting sports in the region, while preserving the ancient traditions that form an integral part of the Emirati identity.
