82 horses in the third race at Jebel Ali Racecourse to celebrate Union Day

Dubai, November 28 / WAM / The third race in the Jebel Ali Racecourse season will be held tomorrow, coinciding with the country’s celebrations of the 54th Union Day, as part of the agenda of the season that began on the first of this November and continues until March 2026.
The evening will witness 7 rounds allocated to purebred hybrid horses, except for the first half allocated to Arabian horses, with a total of 82 horses competing for prizes amounting to 598 thousand dirhams.
The program opens with the 1971 Cup round, designated for purebred Arabian horses in the beginner category, aged 4 years and above, with the participation of 13 horses over a distance of 1,200 sandy meters, with prizes amounting to 50 thousand dirhams.
It will be followed by a race on December 2nd within the “Daem” program for purebred hybrid horses aged 3 years and above, with the participation of 13 horses over a distance of 1,400 sandy meters, with prizes of 72 thousand dirhams.
The third half will witness the 54th round race for the conditions category for purebred hybrid horses, where 8 horses will compete over a distance of 1,400 meters of sand, with prizes of 100,000 dirhams.
As for the fourth round, it is the Seven Emirates Speed Race for the Handicap category (0-80) for purebred horses aged 3 years and above, with the participation of 12 horses over a distance of 1,000 meters of sand, with prizes of 86 thousand dirhams.
The program continues with the Federation Day race for the Handicap category (0-75), with the participation of 12 horses aged 3 years and above, over a distance of 1,950 metres, with prizes of 80,000 dirhams.
The sixth main round is the Zayed and Rashid Initiative Cup for the Handicap category (75-100), in which 10 horses compete over a distance of 1,800 sandy meters, with prizes of 120,000 dirhams.
The evening concludes with the seventh round of the Ghaf Tree Race for the Handicap category (0-85), with the participation of 14 horses over a distance of 1,600 sandy meters, with prizes of 90 thousand dirhams.
