"Kremlin"An upcoming meeting between Putin and the Hungarian Prime Minister

Russian presidential spokesman (Kremlin) Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Moscow later today, Friday."RTL" lang="AR-SA"Peskov said – in statements to the “Novosti” news agency: Russian Today, Friday – “Yes, we confirm that an expected meeting will be held between Putin and Orban today."."RTL" lang="AR-SA"Orban had previously stated that he intends to discuss energy supplies and ways to resolve the Ukrainian conflict with Putin.
According to data on the Kremlin website, Putin – in his capacity as President of Russia – held 12 meetings with Orban, and their last meeting was in July 2024, when the Hungarian Prime Minister visited Russia, Ukraine, China, and the United States, within the framework of a peace mission.
Putin and Orban have met twice and made three phone calls since the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.
