During a phone call with the President of the State, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq condemns the terrorist attack on the UAE Consulate

Today, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received a phone call from Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Government, addressing the treacherous terrorist attack on the Consulate General of the UAE in Iraqi Kurdistan.

He condemned the attack on the country’s consulate, stressing that it threatens the safety of workers in the diplomatic corps and represents a violation of international norms and conventions that guarantee full protection of diplomatic missions and their headquarters.

During the call, the two sides also discussed developments in the situation in the region and their repercussions on regional and international security.
