Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed directs to make it possible to dispose of housing grants for citizens between spouses and first-degree relatives in accordance with specific controls.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, directed that housing grants for citizens be disbursed between spouses and first-degree relatives according to specific controls, with the aim of enhancing social stability and achieving rapprochement and neighborhood between Emirati families.
His Highness also approved the Healthy Living Strategy in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the implementation of which is supervised by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, and the Integrated Water Strategy, whose axes and plans are implemented by the Department of Energy – Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the competent authorities, in a way that enhances the sector’s readiness and keeps pace with the emirate’s growing needs for water resources.
This came while His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan chaired the meeting of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, the latest developments in government projects, programs and initiatives in the emirate, and development plans aimed at meeting the needs of community members and improving their quality of life, were reviewed.
In this regard, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of continuing to implement development projects according to approved timetables, and continuing to integrate modern technologies and artificial intelligence solutions into various aspects of government work, which contributes to providing the highest levels of comfort and well-being for members of society in the emirate.
The meeting also reviewed the most prominent aspects of the healthy living strategy in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which focuses on establishing a comprehensive approach based on promoting healthy nutrition and physical activity practices, and organizing an environment that supports health, in addition to employing data and artificial intelligence in formulating more effective preventive health policies to enhance community health levels at the emirate level.
The strategy is based on empowering community members to make informed health decisions through policies that support healthy food and regulate the marketing environment for foodstuffs in a way that encourages healthy choices, in addition to continuing to implement plans and projects aimed at providing an integrated infrastructure for physical activity, and working with the government and private sectors to enhance health awareness and support building a healthier and more sustainable society.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan noted that the healthy living strategy in the emirate is consistent with the visions and directives of the wise leadership aimed at building a highly prepared future health system based on prevention and early response to health challenges.
During the meeting, the aspects of the integrated water strategy in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi were reviewed, which aims to build a more reliable and ready water system by ensuring security of supply, reducing costs, and raising the readiness of infrastructure by integrating the latest advanced technologies supported by artificial intelligence solutions, in order to ensure the sustainability of resources and improve the quality of services in the water sector at the emirate level.
The strategy is also based on an integrated approach that combines the diversification of water sources, the development of advanced and flexible infrastructure capable of meeting future needs, and the adoption of smart systems for measuring and monitoring and rationalizing consumption in the residential, agricultural, commercial and industrial sectors, in a way that enhances the security of water supplies, preserves groundwater reserves, and supports the emirate’s readiness to face climate change and the increasing growth in local demand for water resources.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan pointed out that the integrated water strategy will support the transformation path towards smart and sustainable water solutions that keep pace with the climate targets of the UAE and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi until the year 2050.
