Nahyan bin Mubarak attends the Albanian Embassy’s National Day ceremony
Abu Dhabi, 28 November / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, attended this evening the reception held by His Excellency Redi Cortesi, Ambassador of the Republic of Albania to the country, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.
The ceremony, which was held at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, was also attended by Omar Rashid Al Neyadi, Director of the European Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a number of officials in the Ministry, senior state officials, heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions accredited to the state, and a number of businessmen and members of the resident Albanian community.
In his speech on this occasion, His Excellency the Ambassador praised the wise policy of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and the strong cooperation relations between the two countries, stressing his country’s keenness to enhance areas of cooperation in various fields.
He described the bilateral relations between the Republic of Albania and the UAE as strong and based on the mutual desire to continue strengthening and developing them in all development sectors, stressing that the UAE is an important partner for Albania, and said that the establishment of the Joint Economic Committee between the UAE and Albania reflects the depth of bilateral relations and the mutual commitment to accelerating joint economic growth.
