Abdullah bin Zayed and the German Foreign Minister discuss the brutal Iranian attacks on the Emirates

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Johann Wadewohl.

The two sides discussed the repercussions of the brutal Iranian missile attacks that targeted the UAE and a number of brotherly and friendly countries, and Johan Vadiful reaffirmed his country’s full solidarity with the UAE.

During the meeting, the relations of friendship and strategic cooperation between the UAE and the Federal Republic of Germany were discussed, and ways to advance them in various fields, including economic, commercial, industrial and investment, in a way that supports the aspirations of the two countries to achieve comprehensive development and sustainable economic prosperity.

The two sides also reviewed the outcomes of the official visit made by the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Friedrich Merz, to the UAE last February, and its important role in strengthening the established relations and effective partnerships between the two countries.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan appreciated Johan Vadevol’s visit, which came as an embodiment of the depth of friendly relations between the two countries, and an affirmation of the full solidarity of the Federal Republic of Germany with the UAE in the wake of these brutal Iranian missile attacks.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the importance of intensifying joint international action to support regional security and stability, and to promote diplomatic solutions and constructive dialogue to resolve the outstanding crises, in a way that serves the interests of the peoples of the region.
