Yesterday, shopping malls in Dubai witnessed a huge turnout, with the launch of the “3 Days of Big Sale” event, organized by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, and continuing until December 2nd, with the participation of more than 500 brands and 2,000 stores offering various offers, with discounts of up to 90%, which was accompanied by stores offering discount offers on the occasion of “White Friday.”
The offers offered include clothing, shoes, perfumes, electronics, as well as skin care and beauty products, as well as various consumer goods.

In detail, the consumer in Dubai, Reda Ibrahim, said that the coincidence of the “big sales” with “White Friday” increased the offers offered in shopping centers at greater rates, especially with a larger number of stores participating in the offers and including various goods, which provided many shopping opportunities for families, especially with the continuation of the offers during the weekends and Union Day.
Consumer Hani Al-Sayed reported that during the current period, shopping centers in Dubai are witnessing the launch of expanded offers with the coincidence of various occasions for discounts, which has increased the number of goods included in the discounts, noting that keeping these offers in line with the dates of salary delivery, the weekends, and Union Day has provided greater scope for shopping.
The consumer, Naglaa Hassan, confirmed that the offers currently offered in shopping centers are a positive aspect, which provides consuming families with the opportunity to purchase their needs of clothes, shoes, electronics, and others.

He also called for extending the discount period to include the Union Day holiday.
Consumer Atef Mahmoud said that many stores announced discounts of up to 70%, while other stores announced discounts of up to 54% on selected goods to celebrate the country’s 54% Union Day. The offers also included “Buy 1 and get 1 free” or “Buy 2 and get 2 free,” explaining that the discounts mainly included clothes, shoes, handbags, and travel, as well as furniture and household supplies. It was agreed that extending the sales period to include the Union Day holiday gives a greater opportunity to purchase and compare offers.

In turn, the official in the management of one of the malls, Samir Asaad, said that “Great Friday” witnesses discounts that are the largest throughout the year, and leads to a significant increase in sales, increasing by rates exceeding 50% in some stores, depending on the item and the percentage of discounts.
He explained that the duration of the discounts is determined by the stores according to their policy, noting that some stores will extend the discount period to three days at the end of the weekend to give an opportunity to purchase.
The sales official at one of the stores, Erika Karl, said that the discounts are witnessing intense competition with electronic platforms, which has led to an increase in the discount rates in some stores, pointing out that the discounts were limited to one day in some stores, while some stores will extend the discounts for additional days.
