The committees are responsible for evaluating Red Sea Film Festival This year’s edition offers (28) awards covering the categories of projects under development, works in progress, and series, with the participation of filmmakers from the Arab world, Africa, and Asia, while the total value of the financial prizes exceeds two million Saudi riyals. The awards are awarded by the jury and the Red Sea Fund, in addition to awards presented by international partners from Various . The Director General of the Red Sea Film Festival, Shivani Pandya Malhuter, explained that the Market Awards contribute to supporting emerging and professional cinematic talents in the Arab world, Asia and Africa, and enhancing the opportunities for their projects to reach advanced production and screening stages, stressing that this year the festival is hosting an elite group of local and international arbitrators, which enriches the professional experience of the participants. For his part, the CEO of the Festival, Faisal, confirmed Beltoyoor, said that the market awards represent a fundamental pillar of the Red Sea Film Foundation’s strategy to support the industry throughout the year, pointing out that the current session is witnessing a clear expansion in the Red Sea market, which enhances the integration between the stages of development, financing and distribution of films during the festival days.
