After her divorce, a journalist resorts to a psychiatrist

British Loose Women presenter Ruth Langsford (65 years old) spoke frankly about her resort to psychotherapy after her split from GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes.

In an interview with “Women and Home” magazine in November 2025, she explained that she began counseling sessions after the separation and is still continuing, stressing that they are “very influential and useful” and give her tools to deal with her feelings. She pointed out that the counselor does not make judgments, but rather asks her questions that make her rethink how she feels. She recounted that her experience with therapy dispelled her previous doubts, noting that it helped her “dismantle” the effects of a long relationship so that she would not feel like she was regressing.

Regarding the possibility of entering into a new relationship or getting married again, she said: “Never say never,” but at the same time she stressed that she has become more aware of her strength and independence, and is not seriously looking for a new partner. It is noteworthy that Ruth and Eamonn announced in May 2024 the end of their marriage and the start of divorce proceedings, after a long career during which they presented the “This Morning” program on ITV and they have one son named Jack, who is 23 years old.
